Ford CFO Joins ASAPP to Help Scale Artificial Intelligence Efforts in CX Industry Disruption

Ford Motor Company CFO Tim Stone announced today that he will join ASAPP Inc., the research-driven artificial intelligence company advancing the future of productivity and efficiency in customer experience (CX).

Tim will join ASAPP in mid-October to be its Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer. He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience scaling and operating a business from his 20 years at Amazon and also at Ford.

Stone started with Amazon in 1998 as the company’s corporate controller and head of tax. He subsequently served in a range of financial leadership roles, managing corporate business development, heading investor relations, directing financial planning and analysis, and overseeing financial operations in Europe. Stone served as CFO for marquee Amazon operations during key periods of growth, including Amazon devices and digital content from 2010 to 2011 and Amazon Web Services from 2012 to 2015.

During his tenure at Amazon, Stone took on strategic operating roles including vice president for benchmarking, in which he built and led a worldwide customer experience team. He also managed the company’s investment in physical stores, including the integration of Whole Foods.
