Thoma Bravo Finalizes Verint Acquisition to Build Comprehensive Customer Experience Platform

Thoma Bravo has officially completed its acquisition of Verint, marking a significant move in the customer experience (CX) automation sector.

The private equity giant has combined Verint, a global leader in CX automation, with its existing portfolio company Calabrio, creating what it calls “the industry’s most comprehensive AI-driven CX platform”.

With the transaction closed, Verint’s Chairman and CEO Dan Bodner will step into an advisory role. Mike Lipps, Operating Partner at Thoma Bravo, will take over as Chairman of the Board for the combined entity and serve as Verint’s interim CEO, with the Verint leadership reporting directly to him. Calabrio CEO Dave Rhodes remains in place, also reporting to Lipps.
