Hi, I'm Marie and am currently handling call center and walk-in counter sections of a financial services company (pre-need) in Makati, Philippines. I'm eager to learn from others and willing to share my insights, too, on excellent customer service!

Marie, incoming calls as well as walk-in...You're being asked to show the best face of your organization in more than one way, to my mind. Sometimes I think I can sense a person's energy from what they write, and I am detecting you have a lot. Do you have an experience that was important for you where you work? Something that had good results that you were happy with?

Since both teams (call center and walk-in) handle the same customers, it's a challenge to provide seamless and consistent service. Our call center handles marketing agents' inquiries and external customer inquiries. Our marketing agents frequently call us and it is amazing how they can actually recognize individual voices of our call center agents! It is rather delightful at times when they praise our call center agents for their enthusiasm, for providing useful information or advice. These are "small things" that make our day and give us the energy to provide even better service to our customers.
