Which call centre CTI systems are the most popular and value for money?

I am evaluating my current Cisco Call Centre (CTI, iVR) systems and its seats expansion limitation vs cost.

How is Avaya CTI, iVR systems? How much is it to expand per seat?

I've worked with Avaya in the past. The monitoring capabilities are nice, but it is a very buggy system, more problem than it is worth.
