Hello all,

I've just completed a management course which had some readings from this site and found myself reading more than just what was required. Some very interesting discussions.

I work in a regulatory role in local government and am interested in the relationship between customer service and enforcement.

As a part of my team's regulatory role, we deal with residence and businesses on a daily basis, however I don't perceive them as our primary customer as our role is to ensure that community standards are being maintained and therefore I believe the primary customer is the general public, who may not even know we exist.
