Customer Service in the Health Industry

Hi there,
I am a Customer Service Supervisor in a hospital in Australia. Currently I am studying a Frontline Management course and intersted in hearing any feedback from anyone has any experience in Customer Service in my field.
While a large portion of my job is Pre-Admission based and not so much face to face patient contact, my Customer Service experience/skills are applied in everything that I do. I am responsible for the training of new Customer Service staff so specifically interested in hearing ideas re system training of new and existing staff and assessment.
Lots of great ideas and interesting conversations happening in this forum!

Hi Cherie
The medical world has a long way to go when it comes to providing great customer service. I would love to know what you are doing or what you have had success with. I would also like to send you an article I just published that would give you some ideas.
