Twilio Launches Next-Generation Customer Engagement Platform

Twilio has unveiled its next-generation customer engagement platform at the SIGNAL 2025 conference in San Francisco, designed for the AI- and data-powered world.

The platform aims to improve personalization, security, compliance, productivity, and ROI for its 335,000 active customer accounts and over 10 million developers.

Twilio’s platform, which integrates communications, data, and AI, will act as the infrastructure layer for every customer interaction, offering a unified profile API with contextual Segment CDP data.

New features include conversational AI tools like ConversationRelay, which enables the creation of sophisticated natural voice AI agents, and Conversational Intelligence for voice and messaging.

The SIGNAL conference showcased Twilio’s leadership in customer engagement and welcomed industry leaders, featuring keynotes, breakout sessions, and the announcement of the AI Startup Searchlight Awards.
