I am new to the forum and hoping that I can enlist some help. I am currently tasked with asking for more budget for our customer service department. Can anyone provide a rough estimate of the percentage of their total company budget is allocated to customer service? We are currently around 2-4% and need more money but want to get an idea of what the standard spend is. I do not need details of your company or actual budget numbers just looking for what the average % spend is.

I head up 3 different orgs, and here are our percentages of budget spent on CS:
70%
12%
2%
