USA - Verizon Florida announces "Verizon Service Commitment"

Verizon, the broadband and telecommunications company is introducing a range of customer service initiatives driven by the downturn in the economy.

The company will be running adverts to publicize the "Verizon Service Commitment" in the hope it can reintroduce a standard of service that meets customer expectations.

The new commitments include an "installation pledge." This will allow customers to deal with their original installer for follow-up service - and for the service to be completed within 30 days.

Verizon say they recognize that service is a great differentiator particularly in this economy and that people want to know they are getting value.
