TalkTalk Issue Apology for Customer Stress

Posted 16th April 2007

The Carphone Warehouse, who operates under the brand name TalkTalk has issued an apology to customers who were affected by the problems the service had when it began a year ago.

Customers had waited a long time to be connected to the Talk Talk service, and many who had managed to sign up were unable to get through to customer service helplines.

The chief executive of the Carphone Warehouse, Charles Dunstone said that he was sorry for the "stress" suffered by customers and the company's customer service performance in a posting on his blog.

He was keen to emphasise that the problems experienced one year ago have been solved.
