Survey Reveals Best Performing Gas Utilities
The J.D. Power and Associates 2006 Gas Utility
Business Customer Satisfaction Study results have been revealed today.
The survey rates 37 of the largest U.S. gas utility providers based on
responses from business executives on six performance factors: company
image; billing and payment; communications; price and value; customer
service and field service.
The highest rankings of the largest Gas utilities were:
East Region: Con Edison
Customer satisfaction score: 733/1000
Midwest Region: Consumers Energy
Customer satisfaction score: 708/1000
South Region: Texas Gas Service
Customer satisfaction score: 755/1000
West Region: Southwest Gas
Customer satisfaction score: 705/1000
Key findings of the survey were that account service programs and online
payments play important roles in satisfying business customers.
