Residents Demand Better Service

USA -  Rocky Mount residents say city must improve poor service

Rocky Mount City Council, Virginia have received complaints from utility customers who claim their customer service needs are not being met.

The chairwoman of the Members of Citizens for Fair Utilities, Jessie Frazier requested a copy of the city’s customer service policy following power stoppages to homes of ailing residents.

Frazier plans to review the customer service policy and make improvements to it.

Members of the organization together with other community action groups have been lobbying city leaders to lower utility rates and improve service to the city.
