Police Roll Out Customer Service Desk

United Kingdom: Police in the United Kingdom have implemented a "customer service desk" for victims of minor crimes.
The service desk gives people the opportunity to make
appointments to see officers, rather than wait up up to four
hours to make a statement.
The scheme was first trialled in Norwich, UK where police
reported that people found it easier to make an appointments."
