United Kingdom - South West Trains celebrates national customer service week

South West Trains is once again participating in National Customer Service Week, the world's largest celebration of customer service professionalism.

This year, the week-long event will take place between 4th and 10th October.

South West Trains has plans in place to ensure that its well renowned customer service is showcased throughout the week.

Andy Naylor, Head of Customer Service for South West Trains explains:

“We have some really exciting plans in place for National Customer Service Week, which include volunteer managers getting back to the floor and doing everything from litter picking to helping with train cleaning or helping customers. We believe this is an excellent opportunity for all our managers to understand what it takes to deliver a better customer service experience for our passengers.”

“As well as a week long plan of activity across our network, we’re also asking our passengers to nominate a member of staff who has made a difference to their journey. We already know we have some fantastic staff on our trains and at our stations, but now we’re giving our customers an opportunity to have their say.”

Nominations for employees can be made through South West Trains website, at southwesttrains.co.uk. Voting is open until 15th October.

Andy continues:

“Delivering excellent customer service really is at the heart of what we do, and what our staff do day in, day out. National Customer Service Week provides a great opportunity to take it one step further and to show customers how committed we are to exceeding their expectations.”
