Npower Ranks Bottom in Helping Vulnerable Customers

United Kingdom -- According to a report by the Fuel
Poverty Advisory Group, Power company Npower is doing least to help its most
vulnerable customers.
The report showed that the company
has only 1,200 customers on its reduced "social tariff", despite parent
company RWE reporting profits of €2.4bn (£1.68bn) last year. The report
found a large disparity in assistance offered to customers by the leading
six power firms. British Gas and EDF were the best performing.
The findings will increase calls for government intervention in the matter.
