Microsoft Targets Salesforce.com and Oracle CRM Customers

USA - Microsoft offers six months' free access to Online CRM

Software giant Microsoft has announced a new offer in a bid to lure Salesforce.com and Oracle CRM Customers to its own online application.

The deal provides customers with six months' access to Dynamics CRM at no charge if they sign up for a 12-month contract. Customers must have five users or more and a maximum of twice the number of users currently subscribed to Oracle or Salesforce.

Microsoft currently charges USD 44 per month per user its Professional edition compared to USD 65 per month per user for Salesforce.com Professional and Oracle's CRM on Demand at USD 70 per month per user.

The offer is valid in the USA and Canada only and will run for the rest of 2009. It's reported that Microsoft may expand the offer to more CRM applications depending on take up of the deal.
