Microsoft Links Office With CRM Software
Microsoft has announced the roll out of tools that it
hopes will integrate its CRM business applications with the MS Office suite.
The new programs, called Dynamics will enable users to trigger workflows or
access data in their AX 3.0, ERP and CRM 3.0 systems via Outlook.
The first program is called the Timesheet Management Snap-In, which links an
appointment or meeting created in Outlook to a back-end time entry in AX.
Microsoft aim to integrate various other applications to eliminate duplicate
data entry and boost productivity.
The Snap-Ins are available for free at the Gotdotnet.com development web
site. More Snap-Ins are planned for the future.
