Emirates Airline Employees Receive Top Customer Service Awards
Seven staff members of Emirates Airlines have been
awarded The Chairman’s Award, the company’s highest accolade for their
professionalism and integrity in customer service.
The employees received a Certificate of Appreciation, a commemorative pen
set and a cheque for US$2,725.
The award was presented to them by HH Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al-Maktoum,
Chairman & Chief Executive, Emirates Airline & Group.
Award winners were as follows:
Cabin Crew Members Corey Oliver and Ryan Black for saving the life of a
swimmer at Dubai’s Jumeirah beach.
Lead Aircraft mechanics Martin Bryant and Peter Whitaker who took control of
a difficult deportee at London’s Gatwick Airport.
Loader & Driver Afzal Bin Mohammed for extinguishing a fire on a Kenyan
Airways aircraft at Dubai International Airport.
Senior Airport Services Agent Amy Davis for her personalised customer
service to the opera singer Andrea Bocelli who was travelling from Perth to
Rome.
Senior Airport Services Agent Taimour Agha, for assisting two ill passengers
at Dubai International Airport.
