CRM and Customer Service Drives Technology Spending

Posted 19th January, 2007
USA -- According to a report by San Diego-based Services & Support Professionals Association (SSPA) the market for CRM and customer service software remains boyant.

The report found that organizations with $1 billion or more in revenue would next year spend around $565 million on e-service, CRM, contact center and field service technology. Small and midsized businesses (SMBs) will spend approximately $884 million.

Findings of the report compliment the above with company's spending budgets -- 17% have a budget of more than $10 million for service and support technology and 31% having a budget between $1 million and $10 million.
