USA - Customizable services provide customer solution

Bosch Communication Center, an international Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) service provider, is implementing its strategy systematically and is strengthening its position as a provider of complex, technology-based services.

"We are further developing our service portfolio, using a targeted approach, and we are focusing on our core areas in particular - those areas in which we can draw on many years of experience," says Bernd-Otto Schirrmann, Head of Bosch Communication Center.

Core areas in focus


As part of this development, Bosch Communication Center is focusing on two selected areas of its service portfolio. Currently under the spotlight is the area of complex technical services. Bosch Communication Center has established itself as a provider of both IT and technical support for clients such as Infineon, Konica Minolta and Lenovo offering a portfolio of complex, customizable services ranging from technical helpdesk and IT hotline services to field service management.

Based on its extensive experience of providing specialist services to clients such as airlines, tour operators, hotel reservation portals, business travel providers and travel clubs, the tourism sector is the second area in which Bosch Communication Center is aiming to grow in the future.

Expanding the international network


Furthermore, Bosch is now integrating new communication channels such as social networks and is offering its services in additional languages. The BPO service provider opened new locations in the Philippines, Brazil and Portugal last year thereby extending the range of languages in which it provides services to include Chinese, Japanese, Korean and Portuguese.

Preparations are currently underway for the opening of a new site in Russia for the Eurasian region, planned for autumn 2011. "This initiative is part of our strategy of increasing our presence as an international Business Process Outsourcing service provider in the world's growth regions," explains Bernd-Otto Schirrmann.

Modular services and tailored solutions create added value


Bosch Communication Center's portfolio of services, which ranges from classic communication and security solutions to managing numerous business processes, is provided in the form of service modules, which can be combined and added to meet the individual needs of the client.

The portfolio includes Trustcenter Services for secure communication and data transfer, as well as a wide variety of reporting solutions and detailed analysis of customer communication, among other services. These services enable companies to react quickly and flexibly to individual sector and customer-related challenges and to access valuable information.
