USA -  Bank of America slide, Wells Fargo improve

Bank of America has fallen from 73 to 67 on a scale of 1 to 100 according to the American Customer Satisfaction Index.

It is believed customer service may have suffered at the bank following recent acquisitions.

The findings were revealed after University of Michigan surveyed more than 80,000 customers across a wide range of industries in it's annual Customer Satisfaction Index survey.

Wells Fargo & Co., managed to improve its score in the banking group to 73. Citigroup went down a point to 68 in the survey.

Average customer satisfaction for all banks was 75 points out a possible 100 in 2009.
