Banks Ranked in Customer Satisfaction Survey
USA - Bank of America slide, Wells Fargo improve
Bank of America has fallen from 73 to 67 on a scale of 1 to 100
according to the American Customer Satisfaction Index.
It is believed customer service may have suffered at the bank
following
recent acquisitions.
The findings were revealed after University of Michigan surveyed
more than 80,000 customers across a wide range of industries in
it's annual Customer Satisfaction Index survey.
Wells Fargo & Co., managed to improve its score in the
banking group to
73. Citigroup went down a point to 68 in the survey.
Average customer satisfaction for all banks was 75 points out a
possible 100 in 2009.
