Airline Staff Get Bonus for Helping Customers
USA - American Airlines pay USD 150 performance bonus
American Airlines has announced it has paid 71,000 employees a
bonus of about USD 150 each for helping meet its customer
service goals.
The award was made because staff had met 3rd quarter customer
service goals. Performance improved by 7 percentage points over
last year.
The bonus, known as the customer experience reward payout, will
cost USD 10.6 million in total.
The service related bonus makes up part of are part of an
American Airlines incentive plan that allows employees to top-up
their salary for raising on-time and customer experience
ratings.
Its reported that American Airlines has paid out USD 35.1
million to employees for achieving customer satisfaction goals.
